I began my profession in Human Resources and worked for numerous big multinational business in London. I worked actually difficult and steadily progressed up the profession ladder, ultimately reaching leadership level. However, I never truly felt that I had found my location in the world. I suffered from an absence of self-confidence and continuously compared myself to others who I thought were smarter and much better than me, and who seemed to advance their professions at a much faster rate than I did.
I travelled extensively across Europe and Africa with my work and also invested a year living and operating in Jamaica. I didn't realise it at the time however these experiences did wonders for my durability and I gradually began to realise that I was a lot stronger mentally than I had thought I was.
